Staff Training

Emergency planning and response in public health preparedness is not a one-time event.  It is a continual cycle of planning, training, exercising, and revision that takes place throughout the four phases of the emergency management cycle (preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation).

Training is a key feature of ensuring that staff are prepared to handle and respond to emergency situations. Here you will find required trainings as well as many optional training opportunities to enhance your response skills.

Mandatory Staff Training : Office Safety, Sexual Harrassment, Violence in the Workplace, Public Health Preparedness (Core Competencies) IS 100 All Employees, IS 200 Supervisors, IS 300 Managers, IS 400 Managers, IS 700 All Employees
