Foster Homes & Child Boarding Homes

The Environmental Health section frequently receives requests from various Florida Department of Children and Families offices for safety and sanitation inspections of private homes for the placement of children, mentally handicapped persons, or the elderly. These inspections are conducted upon request as a pre-requisite to licensure by the applicable Department of Health office.
